Tatu Choker draws inspiration from the healing journey for survivors of sexual violence. We believe that the pillars of healing include: forgiveness, protecting your peace, and embracing your strength. Each of the brass strands of the Tatu Choker symbolizes one of these pillars.
The Tatu Choker is ethically made in Ngong Hills, Kenya using recycled materials.
Made using recycled brass.
Here are some tips to keep your favourite pieces shining bright:
- Before washing your hands, putting on any beauty products or lotions, or cleaning the house, remove all of your rings.
- Take off all jewellery before going swimming to avoid damage from salt water and chlorine.
- Using a combination of a gentle soap and warm water or warm water, fresh lemon juice and a teaspoon of salt soak your pieces for a few minutes and use a soft cloth to wipe away any build-up.
- Make sure to completely dry your pieces after.
