Here are some tips to keep your favourite brass pieces shining bright:

- Before washing your hands, putting on any beauty products or lotions, or cleaning the house, remove all of your rings.

- Take off all jewellery before going swimming to avoid damage from salt water and chlorine.

- Using a combination of a gentle soap and warm water or warm water, fresh lemon juice and a teaspoon of salt soak your pieces for a few minutes and use a soft cloth to wipe away any build-up.

- Make sure to completely dry your pieces after.
